Two new workshops that can be taken individually or together:

Paper Marbling and Bookmaking: Students will create a series of marbled paper that can be used in the bookmaking class as the cover and pages of their books.

Paper Marbling: Students will learn the Japanese process of Suminagashi paper marbling, the art of floating ink on paper. Surrender control and watch as the color dances on water and embeds itself into the paper for a surprising and unpredictable result.

Bookmaking: Explore different methods of folding paper and pamphlet stitch binding to create your own books. Use paper you have personally marbled in the previous workshop or bring your own to design unique accordion folds with pockets and pamphlet books.
